Happy 4th Birthday Christian!
We had such a fun day celebrating today!
Thank you to Christian's Mommy, Room Dad Dave, and baby sister for joining us via google meets.
We loved hearing the story,
How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow.
The giant donuts made everyone very excited to break open the pinata.
What a great way to come back to school after winter break!
Pancakes, Pajamas, and Valentines,
What a great way to end our week!
Thank you to Gabey and Christian's families for making pancakes.
We loved hearing If You Give a Pig a Pancake and enjoyed the pancakes.
Thank you to John's Mommy for the sweet cupcakes.
The sugar high set in quickly, so we moved our bodies to
a Valentine's Freeze Dance game.
We had so much fun delivering our Valentines to each friend.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Thank you to our GCS Parent Board
for gifting us with an author read aloud.
Charnaie Gordon read A Friend like You  to all of Pre K today.
It is a sweet story about how to be a kind and forgiving friend, and how friends can be very different in some ways and similar in others.
We also received a copy for our class library, and the children loved looking at the pictures afterwards.

Roses are Pink, Your Feet Stink!
Thank you Mr. Mascola for reading a silly story to a Pre K 3.
The story reminded us to use kind words
and think about our friends' feelings.

The beginning of a Pre K 3 book club...
Our two friends were "reading"
to each other during centers.
Art Class with Ms. Swan!
We used different shapes to create
Valentines in class today.
It is always fun to be creative!
The GCS Bowling Alley is now open!
Pre K 3 had fun bowling with a partner today.
Each pair took turns rolling the ball,
and then setting the pins back up for their partners.
BINGO!!!
Thank you to our PA for our yummy bagels today!
Pre K 3 has been learning all about Noah's Ark,
so it was the perfect day to play Noah's BINGO!
The children are doing such a great job,
and they love calling out BINGO!!!
Pre K 3 loved showing of our cool hats!
After what seemed like 100 pictures,
this was the best one!!!
Our cutting table was filled with big, colorful pieces of paper on Monday.
After working on our scissor skills all week,
our table now filled with little pieces of the rainbow!

All You Need is Love...
This week, we focused on how we show love at school and at home.
We used magnetix to buid different types of homes.

JUMP! JUMP! JUMP!
We took turns jumping over pool noodles and playing basketball hoola hoop!
It was so fun seeing everyone wearing RED
and promoting a healthy and kind heart.

Happy Catholic Schools Week!
Here are a few future scientists,
I can't wait to see what they explore and discover.
Although our table needs some servers to clean up,
Pre K 3 is learning how to "cook" and take care of each other
in our dramtic play center.
Pre K 3 is learning that some bears hibernate in the winter.
Here are a few friends building a cave for the bears.
