Pre K 3's Newest Trio...
Mrs. G. asked for volunteers to sing
"The Itsy, Bitsy Spider" in music class today!
Our trio performed a fabulous rendition for their classmates!
Mother Goose has so many animals in her nursery rhymes,
that we decided to build some farm houses for them to all be together.
Between the lamb, the black sheep, the goose, the cow, and the dog,
all these animals will need their own acre of land!
Jack be nimble.
Jack be quick.
Jack jump over the candlestick!
Pre K 3 had so much fun reenacting nursery rhymes today.
PE Class was so fun today!
Mr. Smart and Mr. Ronca took us on a train ride, and
we also used our imagaintion to turn scarves into fireworks.
We had to use our listening ears to follow the directions.
Exploring Tangrams!
Pre K 3 created different objects
by matching geomentric shapes.
Tangrams help with visual-spatial skills.
There's lots of trial and error, but the work pays off!
Pre K 3 ate Green Eggs and Ham!
We had a record number of friends enjoy them.
13/14 friends in school today, gobbled everything up!
Green Eggs and Ham
Pre K made our very own green eggs and ham today.
We each cracked an egg, added green food coloring, and
mixed everything up to make the scrabbled and green!
One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
We celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday today with some fun activities: fishing in the sensory table, counting fish into bowls, eating and sorting goldfish for snack, painting fish and learning about the letter "F".
It is so much fun when we get to play with our food!
Pre K 3 used red strawberries and white bananas to create
The Cat in the Hat's patterened hat.
The best part, you guessed it, eating the yummy snack!

Fox in Socks
Mrs. Fata was so busy at home, that her laundry didn't get folded.
Thank goodness for Pre K 3.
They sorted and folded all the clean socks!
Pre K 3 worked on balance and coordination in PE class.
We practiced spinning hula hoops, counting and hopping.
Today's we reenacted Humpty Dumpty
by retelling the rhyme, cracking an egg to demonstrate it can't be put back together, working on an egg puzzle, and creating walls for
Humpty to sit down.
We started our unit on Mother Goose, and today we learned about the "Itsy, Bitsy Spider's" brothers:
"The Very Quiet Spider" and The Very Grouchy Spider".
The letter W was introduced and we weaved a web for our spider.

Impromptu Visit with Ms. Steck!!!
Pre K 3 took a walk to church today to say a little prayer.
On the way back, we voted, and decided to take a walk through the main building.  We were invited into Ms. Steck's office for a little visit.
Sometinmes fun things happens when they aren't even planned.
100 Days Smarter!!!
Pre K 3 celebrated 100 days of school with some fun activites that involved: guessing games, counting cheerios, reading stories,
and stringing 100 beads.
We can't wait to see how much smarter we get!
Please check the Pre K 3 website for some great pictures.
