Welcome Back!
We started morning greetings at circle time.
The line leader said good morning to each friend by name,
and the friend responded.
Facial expressions and eye contact are very important when communicating.

May the renewal of life
at Easter bring new
blessings of love, hope,
peace, good health and
happiness to you and
your loved ones.
Happy Easter
Music time with Ms. G.
We had fun singing different songs
and had many volunteers to sing.
Here, our friends are singing "I'm a Little Teapot."
PE Class with Mr. Smart
Pre K 3 used our listening ears today.
We had to pay attention so we could follow directions when we played:
The Train Game, The Hokey Pokey, and Magic Scarves.
Pre K 3 is learning how to code!
Ms. Groglio introduced our class to scratch coding.
We learned we can make objects do different actions
by putting "puzzle pieces" together.
Thank you to Christian's Daddy, aka, "Room Dad Dave",
for reading the perfect book, Pete the Cat: Play Ball!
Baseball season is starting, let's go Yankees!
We loved having our Room Dad enjoy snack with us this morning.
We turned our footprint into a bunny puzzle.
The children can practice hand-eye coordination,
sequencing, and learn spactial vocabulary (turn, flip)
while completing their own bunny footprint!

Just a typical day in Pre K 3!!!
The children loved getting their feet painted;
thank goodness we had no smelly piggies!

Thank you to Henry's Mommy for visiting us today.
We loved hearing Dragons Love Tacos
and having a special guest with us at snacktime.
The children love having mystery readers in our classroom.
If you haven't signed up yet, please do!
Egg Sorting in Pre K 3
Sorting and matching things together is an important cognitive skill.
Today, we sorted different eggs to find pairs.
Have your child help sort items at home like socks and blocks.
On Your Mark, Get Set, Go...
Pre K 3 took turns playing Barnyard Races.
Board games offer so many opportunities for early learning in young children.  We practiced rolling a dice, counting spaces, waiting our turn, and being a good sport whether you win or lose.
Everyone had a turn to play and cheer on their friends!
Thank you to Poppy's Mommy for visiting Pre K 3 today!
We were so lucky she had snack with us and read a story.
The children enjoyed listening to
Pigeon Needs a Bath by Mo Williems.

Play dough helps little hands develop stronger fine motor skills.
Their eye-hand coordination is also strengthened
by using their hands and fingers to
roll, push, cut, scrape, shape, and flatten play dough.
Old McDonald Had a Farm!
Pre K 3 is learning all about farms.
We are very focused playing farm animal Bingo.
Happy 4th Birthday to Manuel!
Thank you to Manuel's Mommy for coming to visit and reading,
Shapes in the Neighborhood.
The children loved celebrating;
especially when Manuel gave them a special treat to take home!
