hi boys and girls happy Wednesday Today is June 3rd Wednesday and we're going to continue talking about our review of the Saints and of Prayer I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday today was start with our daily prayers and then we'll get right into our next page of our review pages in our book so please follow along with you were going to start with the sign of the cross in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen Our Father who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive go to trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil amen Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death amen glory be to the father and to the son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be World Without End Amen Oh my Jesus forgive us our sins save us from the fires of . Also Heaven especially those in most need a dime receipt in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen great job so today we're going to jump right into our review or going to continue our review of the Saints so we're going to start on page are 27 and it's hard to see down there are 27 and I have labeled it Wednesday June 3rd religion R20 set they're going to read this size and they're going to move on to the next side and I'll explain your activity for so are 27 celebree Catholic identity and prayer be imitators of God as beloved children and live in love as Christ loved us that's from the Ephesian such in the Bible and basically what that's trying to tell us is to be as much like God and is shiza and like Jesus as you can write what would Jesus do we always should have them in our hearts in our minds we are making decisions and choices and also lives in love why should we ever be upset we should always have the feeling of love in our heart because we know the Holy Spirit live so Christ Jesus Christ loved us so much we should be living in that love all the time listen to the reading from scripture play pay close attention to that right so we we just read that reading from the Ephesians and I want you to keep reading it and keep it in your mind trying to be like God in Jesus and try to live the way that they would want to live the way that they were reflect on what you her think about how the Saints loved each other or how the same as loves others as Christ it right we know that the Saints are people who led extraordinary lives everyone and they worked hard for God they used to that virtue that we just finished up diligence they worked hard for God and worked hard to spread the message of God to everyone how can you follow me example of the Saints how can you be like Saints right remember what we learned when we were learning about the Saints this year we can all be Saints God wants us to try to be Saints any one of us can do it you just need to live a good life follow God's rules and love people and try to do God's work try to spread his message teach others God and Jesus choose your job as Catholics to share your thoughts and feelings with God in prayer to God as a friend we should be doing this every day anyways we learned about this with prayer this year that you should be talking to God in your heart when you pray prayer is a special conversation between you and God between you and Jesus between you and Mary and it's so important to speak to them like friend because they are our friend contemplate or sit quietly and think about God's word in the scripture passage from the letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians Above So after we finish up today what is your moment thinking about how you can imitate God how you can be more like God how you can live in Jesus's love and live loving others. We finish up today that's what I want you to think quietly about the words from the scripture that we just ran and about how you can be more like Saints and more like God more like Jesus let's move on to the next page celebrating Catholic identity prayer the Saints and prayer I value my Catholic faith Saints loved others as Christ has the best way to honor a thing is to follow his or her example right what you think a saint would do okay so just like what would Jesus do this is what would your synced it what would a stink to do so there's three different scenarios okay something's happening and you have to respond how a synced would respond so what's happening what would a thank you so first there is a new student in your class you're going to write in this first box what would the Saints do if there was a new student in their class the second one someone is being bullied in the playground what would a saint do you're going to write it in what is seat handle that situation and the last one and younger child gets hurt coming to school riding your bike and they fall off and they walk into school with Nina like a Band-Aid on their near the crying Seraph set or something like what wood is st.joe and then I hope you realize that all of your answers I hope they would be what you would do to if any of these three things happened to someone in your class or someone you knew I'm hoping that whatever you respond with is what you would do too because I know that you all act like Sansa ready you have good heart love God and Jesus and Mary and you the way that they would want you to let right we are sorry for our mistakes we love everyone and we want to teach everyone about God and Jesus and that's how they want you to live that's how the Saints live so I'm expecting to see really good answers and this is what your parents have to send me a scan or picture of so I can see your good work and your good responses and I hope that all your responses are what you would do to not just what I think would do but what you so that's our lesson for today please reflect on the scripture that we read at the beginning I'll read it one more time imitators of God as beloved children and believe in love Christ loved us so I try to act what would God you what would Jesus do what would this tastes do right try to act like they would act try to Love Like Jesus loves us and remember that that love is always in our hearts from the holy spirit that lives there Holy Spirit lives in our heart boys and girls so thank you so much for joining me today make sure you do something fun today spell time with your family and make sure you spend time in prayer have a great afternoon and I will see you tomorrow for Thursday lesson have a great day and God bless you bye
