About Me
My name is Carly Hansen and this is my seventh year teaching 1st grade at Greenwich Catholic School. I graduated from Sacred Heart University with my Bachelors in Psychology and my Masters in Elementary Education.
Ever since I was little, I've always wanted to be a teacher. I found a love of learning and teaching from watching my mom teach her class. I can honestly say, I am living my dream. For the past 4 years, I have been the Assistant director of the GCS Middle School theater productions of "Beauty and the Beast Jr.", "Shrek Jr.", "The Little Mermaid Jr." and "Seussical Jr." .
I am the proud owner 2 bichon mixes named Lilly and Adelle, and a crazy cockapoo puppy named Dusty. I love to read and really enjoy spending time with my 3 nephews.
I am a HUGE New York Ranger fan (my family has season tickets). You can find me and my dad rooting for the Rangers at Madison Square Garden often. I also love any and all things Disney! I'm hoping to get back there soon! In March 2021, I got engaged to my wonderful fiancé and will be getting married in July 2023!
