Community Service Requirements

 
 
Greenwich Catholic School’s mission calls for students to be prepared for a life-long commitment to social responsibility.  Students participate in an impressive and creative array of service activities and learn to make a difference in the world around them. Community Service participation is required in Grades 6-8 and encouraged across all grade levels.
 
Community Service Requirements

  Service Hours per Quarter Total Annual Service Hours
6th Grade 2hrs 8hrs
7th Grade 3hrs 12hrs
8th Grade 4hrs 16hrs
 
Guidelines:
  • Students may begin acquiring service hours for the school year starting in July
  • The Community Service Activity Form must be completed in full and have the signature of an adult (not the student's parent) who supervised the community service activity.  
  • Forms must be turned in each quarter to Mrs. Napoli (6th Grade Religion Teacher) or Mr. Radzin (7th/8th Grade Religion Teacher).
  • Service hours in excess of the minimum per quarter may be rolled over to the next quarter.
