good morning GCS Welcome to our academic award ceremony remember last week we had our non-academic ceremony please when we were in the gym and having our assembly to the academic awards for Honor High honors as well as effort but we didn't do that and because we need an excuse to come back to see you again because we miss seeing you so we thought today would announce the recipients of the honor roll for second quarter enter third quarter and the recipients for effort and citizenship for grade 6 7 and 8 we hope you're doing well and we hope you are getting through this very difficult time at home but we know that you have now asked teachers are following with you and we hope that it's working out for you and your getting your work done and you're feeling good about it I was on a webinar last night about emotional health for students in middle school and high school and what are the things that they told us that I want today was that it's very important for you to be able to take care of yourself the way you sleep in the way that you eat in the way that you exercise in the way that you work and what they basically was it you need to take time for yourself to feel good about yourself and to feel that you are feeling nurtured and supported and cared for and the way that you do that is that you keep in communication with your with your teachers and your friends and if there's some it's starting to bother you or your people with you need to let somebody know so that we can take care of you and we can address it for you so it's very important for you to get outside everyday and get some fresh air ride your bike take a run do something fun for yourself but do it every single day is very important for you to go to bed on time and get up on time because you know what fortnite is not going to get you up at night and wake up at night.
