Welcome

Thank you to our Greenwich Police Officers

for visiting Pre K today. We started our Community Helpers unit, and

were so lucky to meet real heroes.

We learned that they are here to help us and keep us safe!

They were so impressed with us, and our Paw Patrol knowledge,

that we each received Jr. Badges!!!

Calling Picasso...

Today in computer class, with Ms. Groglio,

we used our Ben Q boards to draw ourselves.

We each took a turn and created a class picture!

Sometimes, you just need to stop and enjoy the rain!

As we started to walk to the playground, Mother Nature had other plans.

To stay dry, we made our way inside and watched as the rain passed.

While we waited, we sang

"A,B,C" and "If All the Raindrops Were Lemon Drops."

Then some of our children sang solos.

Sometimes the best moments are the unexpected ones!

Thanks to our new Ben Q board, dressing our weather dog has never been more fun!!! Each child took a turn dressing the dog, with a suitable top, bottom, shoes and accessory. Soon, our daily line leader will assume this task.

Pre K 3 is so tech savy!

Pre K 3 took full advantage of this last day of summer.

We strengthened our gross motor skills

by taking turns rolling the ball to each other.

Once we warmed up, we played a fun game of soccer!

We used our "Listening Ears" in PE class today.

Mr. Ronca and Mr. Smart were so proud of us!

We rode the express train and

followed directions while dancing with colorful scarves.

Thank you to Ms. Groglio for making our first computer class so fun!

We played an interactive ABC game to help us locate letters on a keyboard. Ms. Groglio was very impressed with the children.

We had our first yoga class today with Jamie from Cosmic Yoga

on our new Ben Q board!

We are learning to take deep breaths and stop and think.

The children were intorduced to different poses, such as star pose, sandwich pose, salt and pepper pose.

Musical Mornings with Ms. Genovese!

We had our first music class, and we loved it.

Ms. Genovese played her guitar and we danced and sang together!

for our first Español class! 
We heard the Wheels on the Bus in Spanish, 
and we met a silly monster named Muzzy!
