Introducing... Pre K 3
Here is a sneak peek at the most precious stars
of our GCS Christmas Show.
You will have to join us on the 14th to see the entire production!
"You put your right foot in..."
Mrs. G. had the children singing and dancing to so many favorites today.
Music is not only a creative outlet,
but it also is a great way to help follow simple directions while having fun!
"O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree"
Today we painted our own tree
and used small, medium, and large pom poms to decorate the tree!
He Shoots.... He Scores!!!
We had so much fun in PE class with Mr. Smart and Mr. Ronca today.
We practiced shooting the balls into the hoola hoops.
This is a great activity to help with eye hand coordination
and to build our gross motor muscles!!!
Happy Thanksgiving from Pre K 3!
Today, we gave thanks for God's blessings.
Just like the first Thanksgiving,
we celebrated with Pilgrims and Native Americans.
We started with a prayer, and then enjoyed yummy foods
with our classmates.
Thank you to our Mystery Reader, Mr. Mascola
for coming into our classroom to read,
A Turkey for Thanksgiving.
We loved having an in person guest in Pre K 3.
Thank you to Enzo's Mommy for visiting our class today!
We learned that Enzo's parents are from the beautiful country of Brazil.
We saw amazing pictures of the Christ the Redeemer statue,
breathtaking photos of the Amazon rainforest, and
delicious Barzilian foods like Pao de queijo.

A turkey is a funny bird.
His head goes wobble, wobble.
He only says one little word...
GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE!
Hola from Argentina!
Thank you to Manuel's Mama and Papa for joining our class this morning.
We learned all about the beautiful country of Argentina.
There are beautiful mountains and glaciers, amazing soccer teams, delicious foods, and the birthplace of Pope Frances.
We even got to taste some delicious dulche de leche.
Buenos Dias!
Today, we met our new Spanish teacher, Ms. Luan.
We had fun singing a Spanish hello song
and learning songs about the colors all around us.

Thank you to Poppy's Mommy and Daddy for visiting our classroom today!
We learned Poppy's Daddy is from England, and he share some fun facts about England with us.  We even learned that some of the words we say in the US are called different words in England.
For example, a diaper is called a nappy and a cookie is called a biscuit!
Then we samples some crisps and biscuits!
Happy Veteran's Day
Today we read God Bless America and talked about our great country.
We painted flags and used red, white, and blue beads to string necklaces.

Is there anything better than playing outside on a beautiful day?
Pre K 3 says NO!!!
We used our big muscles to play soccer on the corral today!
Mrs. Fata and Ms. Petrilli were the nets:)
Red, white, and blue,
We all love you.
Raise your banner way high,
Raise it to the blue sky.
Red, white, and blue,
We all love you!
This is the song we sing each day at circle time
to show our love for the USA.
Today, Ms. Swan helped us make our own red, white and blue
hearts to help us remember that many brave men and woman keep us safe in the USA.

Beauty is all around us!
As we walked from the playground to the classroom,
we spotted this beautiful cross on a tree.
The children said God put it there for us!
