Class Policies

3T Class Policies

Homework

  • Students will have homework every night Monday - Thursday.
  • It is often difficult to answer homework questions via email.  If a student does not understand a question, they can either circle it or put a question mark so I know to review it with them.
  • Students will place their homework in their mailboxes in the morning.
  • Spelling journals and reading logs will be handed in on Friday mornings.
  • Homework passes can only be used for a single homework assignment.  They cannot be used for projects, tests, or book reports.

Guidelines - Peace and Harmony

  • Please use kind words to help solve problems and listen to the other person.
  • Attack the problem, not the person.
  • Please ask for help if the problem can't be solved on your own.
  • Please do not get involved in problems that don't belong to you.
  • Remember to only use kind words.  You do not need to say everything that you are thinking.  Is it true?  Is it kind?  Is it important?  Is it helpful?
  • Sweet and kind words and actions help you and your classmates feel good inside.
  • WWJD - What would Jesus do?

Guidelines - Classroom

  • Please be respectful of others.
  • Take responsibility for your actions.
  • Always try your best!
  • Please ask for permission before getting out of your seat.
  • Maintain a clean workspace.
  • Put up your chairs at the end of the day and check to make sure all your materials are put away.  The floors are swept daily after school and anything left on the floor will be gone by the next morning.
