About Me

Hi ! My name is Mrs. Intrieri and I am so excited to begin another year at Greenwich Catholic School as the PreK 4 teacher as well as the Team Leader for our PreK team.  After earning my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Connecticut in Human Development and Family Relations. I joined the faculty of GCS in 2001, initially working as a Co -Teacher in one of our Pre-.K classes.

 

I went on to receive my Master's in Education with a Teaching Certificate from Sacred Heart University for Pre -K through Grade 3.

 

I restructured our Pre- K 3 program to move beyond a play-based curriculum and to include art, music, science, alphabet and number recognition and many other age appropriate skills.

 

After teaching our Pre-K 4 classes for many years, I returned to school for the opportunity to become a program leader in Early Childhood Education.

 

In 2012, I left to work for the Diocese of Bridgeport and then returned to GCS in 2014.

 

When I'm not in the classroom doing what I love , I am enjoying time with family and friends!
