Teaching Philosophy
My role as a teacher is to foster a desire to learn in all my students and to guide them through the learning process. By creating an atmosphere where each child feels respected and safe, conversation about the concepts being presented is stimulated. Multiple learning styles are accommodated by a variety of activities, thus increasing each student's self confidence. The subject matter is shown to be interconnected and viewed as a whole rather than isolated parts.
