hi boys and girls welcome to math for today so for math you're going to follow along with me on page 674 in your math book or if you don't have your MacBook you just follow along with me on a separate sheet of paper so yesterday talking and learning about objects that were the longest that objects that were the shortest and kind of measuring them in line with each other to see which one was longest which was the shortest so today you're going to be figure out still which ones which items longer or which one shorter but instead of sliding them up right next to each other so you can see which one's longer an item to kind of help us so four numbers 1 and number 2 there's a red cramp and looking at that red cran can how let's figure out which item is longer cuz the red cran is the same size for one there's a purple marker and a green marker the directions are asking to circle the object that is longer if we look at the blue marker but not the blue sorry the purple marker it is definitely shorter than the red crayon if I look at the green marker I can see that the green marker is longer than the Red Crab so since the green marker is longer than the red crayon I know that the green marker is longer and the Purple Crayon we're number two we have a feather and a glue stick to help us to measure whether the purple feather or the glue stick is longer and remember the cran the same size at Red crane that were using to help us to measure so if I look at my purple feather it ends here so it's definitely a lot longer than that red cran then I look at the purple with the purple and green glue stick kind of shorter than that red cran so I know that the purple feather is longer than the glue stick using that red cran to help me measure using different objects to help you measure what objects are longer and which objects are order
