Welcome to the PreKindergarten Admissions Process
Admission to Preschool at the Dougherty Center for Early Learning at Greenwich Catholic School requires a number of steps for completion.
We highly recommend applying in the early Fall of the year before your child’s desired enrollment date.

Tours & Open Houses
The best way to get to know our school is to tour our campus. Tours are given by appointment at 9 AM on Mondays and Wednesdays.

No application will be considered complete without the following:
- Birth certificate copy
- Baptismal certificate copy
- Family photo
Group Screening for PreK3 and Individual Screening for PreK4
Once the Admissions Office has received a student's completed Application, you will be notified of your child's assigned screening date and time.
All new students are accepted on a provisional basis, contingent on the successful inclusion into our school. All students entering Preschool must be toilet trained by the time the new school year begins. Students will be evaluated quarterly until the end of their first year.
The school day for students enrolled at The Dougherty Center for Early Learning begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 12:00 PM. There is an option to extend your child's day until 2:30 PM in our Extended Day Program. We also offer Early Arrival beginning at 7:15 AM and After School Child Care to all students until 5:30 PM.
