Hello! My name is Richelle Davis and I am very excited to join the Greenwich Catholic School community this year! Growing up, from kindergarten to eighth grade, I had the privilege of attending a Catholic school- Saint Martha School in Enfield, CT. I then attended a private high school in Massachusetts, Wilbraham & Monson Academy, and later returned to Catholic education for my undergraduate degree. In May 2016, I graduated from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. After graduating from Saint Anselm, I came full circle and returned to my old elementary school as a second grade teacher and taught there for three years. I recently moved to the Greenwich area and am very excited to begin my fourth year as a classroom teacher by joining the GCS family!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, exercising and practicing yoga, traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends. I have always been invested in fitness and have been fortunate to play many sports in my life including ice hockey, soccer, and field hockey. While at Saint Anselm, I played four years for the Division II field hockey team and truly loved the experience of being a student-athlete.
I am extremely passionate about education and all of it’s possibilities to change the world and our future. I believe that teaching is my calling by God and I am blessed to feel immense fulfillment each day working with children. I take great pride in my role as an educator and hope to bring much excitement, curiosity, happiness, and joy to your kindergarten student this year.
