Greenwich Catholic School is planning to reopen 5 days a week, with in-person instruction, for the 2020-21 school year. The Greenwich Catholic School Reopening Plan (Addendum to the Parent/Student Handbook) can be found below.
Reopening Guidelines from The Diocese of Bridgeport were released on July 9, 2020. Updates were made and released on August 10th (below).
If you have any questions about your child's health, please contact your child's pediatrician directly.
A few reminders as we prepare for our first days together on campus:
- We will take the temperature of every student on a daily basis upon arrival at GCS. If your child isn't feeling well, for any reason, please keep them at home. Faculty and staff will follow this protocol as well.
- GCS requires all students K-8 & staff to wear their own mask or face covering throughout the day. Masks can be purchased from Dennis or Lands End, or through this link. If you choose to purchase a mask elsewhere, please be sure it is navy or white. PreK safety measures are outlined in the Reopening Plan.
- As summer travel is still underway, it is the expectation of the GCS administration that families will adhere to the travel advisory as directed by the Governor’s office and that families will contact the school if any health issues arise prior to school opening.
