The Imagine Campaign

In 2011, GCS adopted an aspirational campus master plan to guide development of the 21st century learning environment we envision for our students. The impetus for the plan was the desire to better accommodate the middle school program by improving the connection to the lower school and special subject classes.
The Master Plan addresses academic program needs, grade reconfiguration, campus security, basic plant operations, environmental sustainability, and future traffic patterns. The new plan preserves more natural green space and provides additional learning areas for our students.
Greenwich Catholic School is a testament to a strong commitment to faith and the indispensable value of Catholic Education. In the late 1960s, faced with dwindling enrollments in area Catholic elementary schools, a group of dedicated Catholics came together with a singular goal: to ensure for the future that Catholic education would maintain a presence in our community.
Imagining Our Future
Today’s Greenwich Catholic School community shares these same values, and seeks to guarantee that this tradition endures. The Imagine Campaign is about more than new buildings -‐ it is about sustaining our School for the future by addressing its most pressing capital needs now.
Phase 1 of the campaign, The Upper School renovation, calls for the following:
- Adding 2 classrooms
- Renovating and resizing of existing classroom space
- Equipping the building with a state of the art, energy-efficient heating and cooling system
