We made applesauce with all of the delicious apples everyone brought in!
1st Grade also did a Kindness Apple Activity. Each student said really kind things to one apple and said really unkind things to another apple. Nothing changed on the outsides of the apples but on the inside, the apple we were kind to was bright, white and juicy, while the apple we were unkind to was brown and bruised inside. It was a great lesson about how powerful our words are and how they effect each other.
