Pre K 3 took some turns playing interactive games
on our Ben Q Board today.
We put together cupcakes and pizzas by using sequence clues.
The only down side, we couldn't eat what we created!

Our caterpillars are ready to be moved!
When I checked on them this morning,
they were all hanging and attached to the lid.
The next step, is to put them them in the vented butterfly tent .
They will form a chrysalis in 7 - 10 days .
Then, fingers crossed, we will have butterflies to release!
We learned our flowers were very thirsty and
changed colors when they drank the water!
Thank you for visiting our class today to see our flowers and
guess whether or not certain objects would
sink or float.
The children couldn't stop talking about their parents visiting today!!!!
Our class planted Zinnia seeds today.
We learned a plant needs: soil, seeds, water, sunshine, and love.
We can't wait to watch our seeds grow.
Pre K 3 is so excited watching our caterpillars grow.
The children constantly stop by, throughout the day, to check on
their status! We can't wait to see them transform into butterflies.
"Oh Mary, We crown thee with blossoms today!"
Pre K 3 placed flowers by Mary to thank her for being Jesus' Mommy,
and for praying and watching over us in heaven.
Will it Sink or Will it Float???
We "predicted" if some items would sink to the bottom
or stay on top of the water.
We had fun seeing if we guessed correctly.
Thank you to our 5th grade buddies for visiting us today.
They wrote stories, with their PreK buddies, as main characters.
The big kids were so excited to share their stories,
and Pre K 3 loved hearing their names.
What a special treat!
What color will our flowers turn?

We all started with white flowers, and added either red, yellow, blue or green dye to our water.
The flower will be thirsty, so when it drinks the colored water, we will find out if our white flower changes color.

We loved being siilly and doing the opposite of what the book wanted us tto do! We also ate some yummy cookies at snacktime.

Water play in Pre K 3!
The water table was a hit, and our friends were so excited.
We learned that water comes down;
that's why the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" fell down the water spout.

We love having guests in our room!
Pre K 3 welcomed some house guests yesterday!
Our caterpillars arrived, and the children are thrilled.
It is so hard to watch and not touch, but we are practicing patience!
Pre K 3 visited the book fair with our 5th grade buddies.
It was so special to see the "big" kids take responsibility for their buddies. They helped them shop for books, and had to practice their mental math skills keeping track of their buddies ewallet.
It was a win, win... fun and active learning!!!
