Welcome to the Kindergarten through Grade 8 Admissions Process
Admission to Greenwich Catholic School requires a number of steps for completion.
We highly recommend applying in the early Fall of the year before your child’s desired enrollment date.
The application deadline is February 1st. If space allows, we will accept additional applications after this deadline.

Tours & Open Houses
The best way to get to know our school is to tour our campus. Tours are given by appointment at 9 AM and 1 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Our Winter Open House for K-5 will be held on Sunday, January 28th at 12 PM
Middle School Open House Night will be Thursday, February 1st at 6:30 PM

No application will be considered complete without the following:
- Birth certificate copy
- Baptismal certificate copy
- Family photo
- $100.00 application fee made payable to Greenwich Catholic School (nonrefundable and not applicable to tuition)
- Transcripts from your child's current school (please see the below Transcript Release Form)
- A teacher recommendation from your child's current school (see below)
- Incoming Kindergarten Students must complete a Parental Early Childhood Assessment
Entrance Exams & Screenings
Once the Admissions Office has received a student's completed Application, you will be notified of your child's assigned screening date and time. The screening date is Saturday, February 3rd (your child's application must be complete by February 1st to be included in this screening). Students are screened to determine their aptitude in language arts, math, and in writing skills.
All students in grades 2-8 are required to have a classroom visit as part of their Admissions Process. After successful completion of their screening, students will be notified of their classroom visit date. The student will spend an entire school day at Greenwich Catholic where they will meet teachers and peers. Students screened on February 3rd will have a classroom visit on one of the following days: February 5, 6, 7, 8, 21, 22 or 23.
All new students are accepted on a provisional basis, contingent on the successful inclusion into our school. Students will be evaluated quarterly until the end of their first year. Admissions decisions will be mailed out on March 1st with an Acceptance Response due date of March 28th.
The school day for students in grades K- 8th grade begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 2:45 PM. We also offer Early Arrival beginning at 7:15 AM and After School Child Care to all students until 6:00 PM.
